    Default Vp calais bumper and side trims replaced?

    hey, the chrome trim that goes on the edge of the bumpers on vp calais and along the side of the door( in the middle separating the 2 tone colour) can it be replaced? mines got a few nicks and is aged? has anyone done this?

    The bumpers can be done, but not the doors as its part of the mould, u have to sand back n use pinstripe to do the doors.

    The bumpers u can get the stuff from autobarn, bout $30 one pack will do the bumpers front n rear

    you can buy genuine for the front and rear, the sides and taillights can be done by a pinstriper

    is it hard to remove them from the bumper? they are in there pretty tight

    Nah i jst put a flat head under it n peeled in on a corner then lifted it all up.

    At the ends it goes into the bumper thru a hole, just pulls out. Takes 15-20min to remove n replace

    I just bought 8 metres of chrome tape off ebay to do my strips along the doors, then buy the bumper stuff in metre lengths. The tape work came up very nice!
