In QLD, the RTA is the Residential Tenancy Authority!

Seriously, you just need 4 facts on 1 piece of paper - something signed by the current owner that identifies the vehicle, the date of sale, the buyer and the price paid. If anything there is misrepresented, then you can fight the government in court about it!

No, the rego papers do not prove ownership at any point in time! Rego is simply registration of details supplied to the government! They do not know what you do not tell them!
