Diff gears (Models and makes)

Hey guys, i need to know what cars came out with manual gearbox & 3.9 diff ratio?

I need the speedo cog out of one, i know r31's have 3.9's but thats in the auto, and the manuls are 3.7's

Anyone help?

3.08:1 – VL V8’s, and 99% of VN-VTs1
3.27:1 – VP GTS
3.45:1 – VL 6cylinder models
3.73:1 – R31 skyline (Very rare, need conformation on exactly what models they are in, I was told they are in all manual R31’s, that is not the case, I have also heard they are only in ’91 and ’92 models but cannot back this up)
3.91:1 – R31 Skylines, auto R31 Pintara
4.11:1 – Manual R31 Pintara

Yeh i already knew all of that haha.. I just need to know cars that are manual and have 3.9's.. I dont need diff gears i need speedo drive..

The only 3.89 diffs in Commies I can think of were fitted to the old four cylinder VC and VH models. Don't know if the speedo gear from one of those would suit.

Just get a speedo corrector from jaycar, less tuffing around.....

Btw hsvpunk was right except the pintara auto's had the 4.11's........ the manuals had 3.9's.....

Some people say 3.7's in manuals (skylines) is only with silo's..... some say later models...... finding 3.7's are a bitch lol

Ok i didnt say anything about them having to have anything with a commodore.. I said anycar, Also you are wrong about the silouettes they all have 4.11's and the manuals have 3.7's and auto's have 3.9

I have quite a few mates with them and if you use your friend google you will find all of this out.

Oh and speedo correctors wont work my car is a VL and does not have electronic speedo so Jaycar one wont work it may work on your vn but not my vl.

And also why do i care that you want 3.45's? Look at u pull it, or on ebay they pretty cheap..

No they dont, I have done alot of research into it....... only the auto pintara got 4.11's..... i done alot of research into it so i knew what diff to get

But alot of the r31 guys do put auto diffs into there manuals if they have 3.7's....

We'll thats what i have read off the r31 forum and seen with my own eye's

Will have to take your word for that one, cos ive read in lots of place's siluohetes have 4.11's.. Eh not important lol..

But yeh i guess you dont have a fix lol

Anyone know makes and models manual with 3.9's??

Or anyone know if auto gear cog will fit in manual.
