Chevy or holden badge?

CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN TO ME THE IDEA BEHIND THE REPLACEMENT OF THE HOLDEN BADGE ON MAINLY SS V8 MODELS WITH THOSE CHEVROLET BADGES? WHY ARE OWNERS SO EAGER TO RIP OFF THE AUSSIE HOLDEN BADGE AND REPLACE IT WITH A YANK CHEVY BADGE? I KNOW THE ENGINE IS A CHEV BUT WHAT ABOUT THE BODY MADE IN AUSTRALIA AND SOON TO EXPORTED AGAIN TO THE US?

Chev badges are most usually unwarranted and put on for some form of special awesome factor that only the owner can appreciate.

I mean I see these cars with all those the Southern Cross stars, Aussie pride and Aussie flags stickers plastered all over their cars yet thay carry an Amercan Chev badge! I'm not anti-American. Can you imagine those American Pontiac G8 owners swapping for the Holden badge?
