Paint forum?
Hey mods, how about starting a new forum on nothing but paint related threads? This would cover any painting questions/experiences that we may have, whether it be exterior paint jobs, dash painting, engine painting, etc, etc. This would be an easy way for members to go straight to a section that specialises in paint. And would keep it out of other sections, where searching is the only way to hopefully get info that we may be looking for. Anyone else reckon it might work? Just an idea, anyway.

I'm not so sure such a forum would have alot of traffic. I mean, more people want to know what wheels to buy over painting their car (moreso because of the cost factor when respraing a car) so why not make a wheels forum?
Seems like the forum is getting quite cluttered now, so i dont think its needed. Maybe an easier way of doing things would be to add prefixes to threads in the general section (not sure how the prefixes work, weather they can be limited to each section, or if they show up in every section) making searching easier. Could add Paint, Wheels, bodykits, interior crap etc prefixes and then anyone can search what they're looking for there

i would love a paint forum because i want to paint my car my self and have no experience
so this would help me out a lot and i bet a lot of others as well because it will save them a lot of money

As has been mentioned, it would be another pointless forum.
We created a timeslip/dyno area that everyone wanted. rarely gets used.
Why not create a thread with relevant info in it, if it is good enough, a mod will sticky it anyway.
