Default Bulge/Lump in the sidewall of my tyre?

Hey guys, mum had a lil accident with the VS a while ago, from what she told me, she had hit a gutter and got a flat on the front passenger side...the tyre is un-repairable as far as i know, as it's got a puncture on the sidewall.

the rear passenger side tyre has a bugge/lump in the side wall from the accident.

since then, ive swapped them with my old BMW wheels just for now..

my question is, will this tyre with the bulge be ok to drive with? or is it best to scrap it and buy a brand new tyre again?

these tyres are near new, ive attached a photo of the damage.

Defs get a new tire mate. Its dangerous and you would get a majour defect if the cops sure that on the car and your driving it on the rd.

Yeah mate you got yourself an impact fracture there. It's where the cords in the sidewall break and the air pressure is pushing the rubber out.

If you continue to drive on it, it will get worse and can explode. So best to grab yourself a couple of new tyres

Yep - it's a gonner. AND will go pop at some point when it gets hot. Even if you put a tube in it.

I Had the Same thing happen to me, Bent my rim at the same time, just looked at my rear view mirror than BANG, massive pot hole.
As you can see, Just replaced it & balanced out the rim, tyre power say its ok, Replaced both for even wear, so now how a spare. Excuse how dirty my car is, was raining for 2 weeks straight lol

New tyres it is then!..not a problem im not too fussed about anyways, cheers guys!

another question though...since the both front and rear tyres are a-okay and they have the same tread pattern, im unsure that i will find an EXACT same pair

Would it matter if both the new passenger side tyres' pattern be different to the driver's side??

or should i get the tyre fitters to swap the tyres over so that the rear tyres are the same and the new ones be fitted to the front?

    damn you directional pattern.
