    Question Reconditioning heads?

hey guys, ive been told that i should recondition my ecotecs heads if i were to install roller rockers and new springs along with doing valve stem seals etc. apparently its risky to change the seals and springs because theres a chance that the valve turns and doesnt seal, thus making it possible for the valve to burn out? Does this sound right to anyone?

    Thanks

my brother who works at a mechanics mentioned to one of his mates that i am going to be doing the valve stem seals, the valve springs and putting roller rockers in and his mate more or less told him that if i am to be doing all that, that it is highly recommended that i reco the heads as there is a chance that the valve can turn and not seal properly and will eventually burn out the valve.

are you installing a big cam that requires springs and maybe rollers?
have you had a leak down test done and got bad results requiring a valve grind and seats re cut?
are your standard rockers showing any signs of wear?
if you answered no to the questions above you should jusst leave your heads alone..
