Valve Springs

Hello everybody I've just joined this forum because of two reasons.
1) I've just bought a HSV GTS-R (UK Spec)
2) You guys are probably the best bet for ideas and advice.

And it's advice I need. One of the few specialists in the UK has told me that these engines (C4B 300) have weak valve springs. Is this true or just a sales pitch. Thanks

Clearly it does depend how its driven.. If you doing the strip or loads of heavy throttle runs well yeah replacing the bits on top of the donk is recommend but really they are a pretty good engine and can handle a bit of fun
