    Default Hail Covers

    Hey Everyone

In Byron bay, Almost every year, we get batted with cricket ball sized hail. The VX got hit last year and was F**KED. Got repaired with insurance though. So Asking if anyone has Hail covers like so

Do they work at all? anyone got one?
I watch the radar most days in hail season but if i get caught out if i have it in the boot why not.

by the looks itd only save you from small hail, about the same affect as throwing a blanket over.

Well thats the thing, Small hail does nothing. Even cricket ball sized hail that hit last year only gave it mild ripples, so it may save it having 6mm thick rubber to absorb some of the impact.
