posting for a mate..
late last week, thought it'd be a great joke locking a mate in his car boot..
apart from the fact that hes costrophobic, we realised after that his keys were inside the boot with him. and his glovebox boot release and boot release on his keys did not work
we couldnt get him out from the seat side as his subs were bolted down..
luckily he had a screwdriver in the car in which he unscrewed the bootlatch totally off from the boot. therefore resulting in snapping the key release cable ( hard wire about 10cm long ) on the boot.
he didnt notice it snap and when he put the boot latch back on. he closed his boot.
and when he tried opening the boot, it wouldnt open..
the car is a vs exec.
has this happend to anyone? and if so how did they rectify the problem?
any help would be greatly appreciated![]()
