Spraying Info

Never painted before but finally going to do it soon, just trying to get the following information and a spray booth and should be sweet. Few questions I have though:

- I am looking at painting a really dark glossy black so does anyone have some recommendations on what colour I would be looking for in regards to colour codes or what I should be telling the paint shop.

- Also what are some recommended good quality 2 pack paint brands which is obviously good quality but not too expensive.

- And finally what sort of spray gun would i need to purchase, brand etc as I have no idea of what is good quality.

Any recommendations on where to buy this gear aswell would be fantastic, im near Dandenong, also if anyones got details of a good spray booth I can rent please pm me.

debeer is a good brand and not too pricey either.
maybe have a look at the colour chips at bodyshop in dandy, theyre near xxx bodykits on cheltenham rd in that row of shops.
id def do it clear over base not solid, it will have more depth and it wont scratch up as easy imo.
use the debeer clear, not their no name brand which is octral.


i use a devilbiss gti gun with a 1.4 mm tip, does the job real nice but they are upwards of $500.

Cheers, Ive been looking into devilbiss gti pro spray guns mite try get a hold of one of them they seem to be the win.

Recommend any paint shops for good paint also? I know theres one on Cheltenham Road on the corner near where you talking about but havnt been in there.
