When you went for your P's did you do the CBT or VORT test? Few questions about them.

I only have 3 more months to go till i can get my P's, ive finished all my hours and am keen on getting the test over and done with next month.

What im curious about is that which one is generally easier and how much do they cost?

I'm most likely do the VORT, as its just a once off test. I've know of some pretty sh*t drivers who passed the vort test, when theres alot of people telling me its the hard one.

i did the CBT test fairly easy cost $100-120 i think and i have heard VORT test is easy

Definitely do the VORT, its not hard at all, just gotta remember your basic road rules.

Its not a hard test at all. If your a competent driver, you should be fine.

most places will try and screw you.... when i did mine most places pretty much hinted that unless i bought a few lessons that i wouldnt be 'skilled enough' to pass the test.

learned pretty quickly a lot of them want money... so i called up allpass, did a lesson with them as a test practice, kept being told i wasnt ready for the test, they had specials on packs of 8 lessons.

next day booked in a final vehicle test (it cant be with same instructor, i knew htis ) they tried to give me same guy, made sure i got another..... got some cool bosnian war veteran who was like 30 who just wanted to go pickup chicks..... gave him the impression i'd done tons of lessons with the other guy.

Pretty much just cruised for chicks.... he made me reverse paralel park... few small things, parked to get food and he's like yeah you passed ill give u 100%
wrote my LOC.... asked me if i was gonna miss the other guy and im like hardly i only had 1 lesson with him... look on his face was priceless.

at the end of the CBT you have to do a test anyway so just try your luck with VORT, i finished CBT in four lessons but i think it was because it was the week before my birthday and i said i want to get it over with haha
