Mafless Tune?

Hey Guys,

i was searching around for a place to get my car tuned and i stumbeld accross the below link, has anyone heard of this? Is is just the same or am i missing something?

I got a mailorder tune done for my VX LS1, and I love it!! Shop around though, you can get it cheaper than that!

You won't get exactly the same power increase vs a proper dyno tune, but it is pretty close and if you are concious about $$ then it is a good option!

I got a full custom tune for $600 for my LS1. And that included the dyno hire.

i havent had a mail order tune but am scepticle.
Personally id prefer to walk into a tuner garage and have them play with my car to get the most out of it. Im getting a tune and OTR within the next month. ill let you know how that goes!!

There's a ls1 here running a mail order tune and it's jsut as fast as the ls1s that have been dyno tuned, probably only a 5 kw difference if anything
