What do you mean by 'worth the stuffing around' ??

Stuffin around as in taking out the old filter and putting the new one in?

And in replay to your second questions, yes, yes I do.

    Regards,

K&N is worth it, you'll save money on replacing the crap paper filter every 20 thousand k's or whatever, plus it has 3 times the surface area. If you have a cai and a few other light mods then you'll get a bit better throttle response too.

    Cheers.

Hi, just wondering if the ECU on an 2004 Alloytec 175 VZ commodore can be replaced at home with a new/secondhand one or does it need a software re load and or configuring to my vehicle???

    Thanks in anticipation.

Don't bother with a pod filter. Get a replacement panel filter, use one of the 'CAI Mod' threads on here to open up the airbox and get it flowing better. Cost you ALOT less that getting a pod filter and doind all the work to have it working as it should.

    Cheers.
