Be aware that it is impersonating a police officer if blue / red and is a serious offense. If you do get some, dont drive around with them on your dash as ive been pulled over before so they could check mine (amber).

    anyway PMed you

Hope you put on your flamesuit. I heard that its ~$7k fine and car impounded. Just what I heard and dont vouch for that in any way. Although it is good fun. eBay usually has then in "Amber, but just email us if you want any other colour."

Ive got amber dash ones as well, come in handy if you ever break down on a country highway, can never be visible enough to truck drivers.

My girlfriends brother had a moto accident and i had them on, cops didn't say a word about them.

Scored mine off ebay for 99c about a year and a half ago its one of these 8 LED Strobe Flashing Deck Dash Warning Light Amber new : eBay Motors (item 180410588322 end time Mar-21-10 01:08:33 PDT)

But i wouldn't carry red and blue ones even in the car. Way to much of a chance to take for a prank.

just make it look like the car is an undercover cop eg, mount some amber strobes on the dash and parcel shelf like TVR-161, put some spotties on the front of the car, put the car on pursuit rims, mount some UHF and phone aerials on the boot and then drive around wearing a blue shirt lol

I think it's going to be a very bad idea if you go ahead with the red and blues..........you will be asking for trouble.

    Don't do it dude.

This is a very good thread

I have been pulled over before for just having two aerials on the rear of my VZ Commodore window, it's lowered with FE2 suspension, chaser rims and dark tint. These lights you speak of, I cant find them anywhere...?

Oh, I wouldnt recommend getting red/blue lights its a very serious offense and Police take it quiet personally too!

If someone in your local area feels the need to report your car on private property, where there is barricade to prevent the entry of the public and you are doing illegal stuff, the Hoon Laws have provision for you in that case too! All it takes is some a-hole to ring up and complain the lights are causing concern to them and you could be history if observed by Police!

Really, you can if you like no amount of people on a forum will stop you. It is good fun but risky as hell. Do at your own risk.

hi, just looking to get some undercover Ve commodore cop lights as a prank and novelty on one of my mnates.
    save yourself the money/hassle.

just give the coppers a call and tell them you suspect your mate is drink driving and cutting loops all around the joint. leave his plate details and his rough current location with them, and they'll do all the hard prank work for you
