Just a query fellas.

Recently in my 97' VT Berlina I have noticed a slight humming coming from the back of the car at idle. I figured that it's probably the fuel pump as this is the only component in the rear which could be causing this. The humming goes away when I get the revs up

Has anyone else experienced this symptom before? If so, any ideas?
