bit of a pointless thread as it all depends on what you count as street legal.

99% of modified cars (and probably 60% of non-modified cars) are technically illegal for some reason or another

however, most powerful street driven car I have owned was my old 304 VR - 220rhwp, simple intake exhaust and tune.

Agree with Savage, a mates cousin has a 10sec VL, it is street registered but illegal, because it has a straight through exhaust that dumps at the diff.
So, is it Street Legal, or Street Registered? lol.
(not posting that for the 'cool factor' just agree'ing that they are two different things... )

Hey people, new to the site, so far the most powerful is my new VE SSV at 270kw but she is getting ready to take a trip to HDT to transform into a new HDT Group A SS Blue Meanie upgraded to 450kw, not sure what she will be at the wheels but will find out when she's back, just got my first V8 and now she will be my first super charged car. Back a few years ago when I was younger & wilder I owned a 1993 Callaway CR-1 Corvette which I purchased from a rental car company while I was on holidays in the US after driving it around for almost 2 weeks and I fell in love with it I had it shipped back to Oz and converted it to RHD.

376.6 kw / 505.0 bhp @ 7000 rpm

Even though I have owned some very fast cars and still do, the Corvette for me was the scariest ride but also the most intoxicating Ride & street legal.
