Default QUICK ONE! What will happen if i run Bosch sport ignition leads without heat shields?

Just as the title suggests, my factory heat shields are too small to fit over the new leads, could i run them without? They are rated to 260degrees C

Or should i try make something up to stop heat? Could i run them in the meantime?

    Cheers.

Nothing will happen have used many of these leads in the past when doing gas conversions without problems and recommend the sheilds be removed anyway

yeah when i replaced my leads nearly a year ago,the shield kept pushing the lead off one of the plugs so i got rid of them all, seems to be fine so far
