There are no mounts to lift the engines in the vys you need to put them on your self. I use lifting hooks from other motors to take them out. The vn-vp passenger side engine hooks are good, i use two of them. other wise go to the wrecker and get a few seat belts, seat belts are STRONG!!!!
The proper way to change the K frame is to use a engine bay strut/ or engine holder. Its the safest way. If you are doing it at home be very carefull, as once the K frame is un bolted there is NOTHING but a gearbox mount holding every thing up, which is not enough.
Unless you plan to pull the motor down with it and swap it all on the ground. I do this job quite often at work but i have the luxurys of all the equipment.
If it is your first time be warned, its a little tricky lining up the engine mounts!!!
cheers man
yeah lining the engine mounts up was the hardest i just made them really loose so i could attach the k frame to them then tightened everything up i used 5 or 6 jacks lol
