I just installed a keyless entry kit into my Vs commodore, when im standing right ext to the car and press unlock/lock, the mechanisms will lock'unlock, however if i move slightly away it seems like the motors are struggling to lift the mechanism, so i thought my locks where too heavy for the actuators, and disconnected them, but even without the actuators being hooked up to the locking mechanism, the actuators still struggle to lift themselves, but only if im not right next to or inside the car.

So i extended the aerial on the keyless entry module and it didnt make it any better, perhapse if anything it made it worse..

I knew it wouldnt have great range, but atm its just pointless, the remote has to practically be in the car for it to work...
