URGENT! fire extingusher powder vs car

hey guys,

Urgent help of knowing how fire extingusher powder goes with car paint? my gf's car got sprayed last night by some idiot and was wondering if we can just wash it off?? its an 02 Astra with perfect paint still.

try a small spot somewhere inconspicuious. otherwise get the bulk of with commpressor and then drench the car fully really well and wash it normally, keep the spounge extra wet..

rinse the areas well with plenty of water as dry chem extinguisher powder when left and becomes wet can be corrosive .

My car had some on it after we got rid of the last of the charge in an extinguisher, washed it the next morning no problem.

what i do at work is just give it a wash and it will just wash off!

ya i used mine one night and my car was covered in a fine layer of the powder afterwards, washed it off next morning. no problems.

those things do more damage than a fire extinguisher, last time i used one it ****ed my paint up big time, never again.
