Im thinking of heading over to Qld soon and wondering what the deal is with me driving a car over there? (on my WA P plates)
A mate said i can borrow his car, so:
Would i have to display p plates?
If so would i have to follow local p plate laws etc?
and would i display local P's or WA ones? or none at all?
sorry if this sounds confusing but any help would be awesome
I'll clear this up before any misinformed people get in here.
You drive to YOUR license conditions. If in your state P platers dont have to display P plates you dont. If you do, you display YOUR p pates, not QLD ones. You still have to follow their road laws, but it is covered by your license first.
You will not have to follow THEIR p plate laws.

Better to coever yourself now rather than have to spend the rest of your holidays trying to explain yourself whilst over there.
