Yeah over time (short time) they will. Maybe take it to an exhaust shop and get an extra hook welded on so you can hang both pipes, otherwise you will probably stress the one pipe its hanging from.

Yes, they will, until you go on a trip and the zip ties melt. Tried and tested

Go to somewhere like repco , Autobarn or Supercheap and buy a universal exhaust mount. You need to get one to suit the diameter of your pipe so measure it first. Once you have your mount you just have to clamp it on your exhaust and find a spot to bolt the other end to.

The trick is to put multiples on, so when a couple burn through, it's still supported.

Mate if your going to use anything, then yes the tie wire will be your best bet, but wrap it around several times and use it in more than one place so that it's "backed up" if one breaks. Otherwise the exhaust shop welding a proper bracket in place would be more desirable.

ahhhh yes! ghetto fixes, love it. ok so here we go. what you do:
get an old over mitt, electric blanket or any kind of fabric that resists heat
    a coke can or two
    a dozen cable ties.
    beer

now, wrap the heat resistant fabric around the pipe, then cut up the coke cans and wrap the alloy around the fabric. a zip tie on either side of the alloy to hole it tight. two zip ties slid under the first zip ties in a loop, then two more up to the floor mount.

    done forever.

Guys, you gotta realise that there is movement in the exhaust pipe, so I suggest finding an old pair of Jocks that the elastic is still good in them, This will work a treat!

Just be sure to have the skid marks on the inside!

OR you get long ass cable ties, an cut off a bit of a spare bit of water hose you have spae in the garage... Run the ties through the hose, then have the hose onto the hot surface and then put the cable tie's to the disired tightness perfect

    Ghetto as **** lol
