Exhaust Question

Hi Guys,

i have a mate who just bought a gen 3 vy calais and it is pretty standard other that a cat back exhaust on it but its not 2.5" it is 2 & 1/4", he wants to change it to 2.5" when he goes to get his headers put on.

Is there much difference between the 2? is it worth it to change to 2.5" or just leave it?

I dont know of any sports exhaust systems for a LS1 that come in 2 1/4 inch, perhaps it is just the standard or HSV system?

Definitely change it to 2 1/2". The difference is staggering.

Yeah go 2.5", its worth it!
