    Default Tyre pressure for drags???

    hi guys,
    i took my ute out tho the drags a couple of weekends ago and ran 36psi in my tyres ( stock ss rims 245/45 R18) i think that this is too high what are your opinions?

    I don't believe you should ever run less than 28 psi in a radial, they aren't like slicks with bendable sidewalls where you can run low pressures. I run 38 psi in mine 225, 15"'s at the drags, I've run all kinds of pressures and that works well for me. Anywhere above 28 should be fine, below that traction starts to fall away for me
