    Default Never ending Drama....NEONS!

ok guys, here is the problem...

I have a few sets of neons, one in the boot that flashes to the sub when the centre console in the back is open and 2 up the front where your feet sit, and 2 in the back seats.... i have them all badly hooked up to the ciggy lighter, the ones in the car run off one switch and the one in the boot runs off another one! where are some good places to put the switches? and where or how to i hook these neons up properly...i dont understand this very well...i have looked through a few other posts and threads and i dont understand how to do it...i need some real help

    thanks

    Cool

Ciggy lighter connections are OK in an emergency.....but you can easily and simply hard wire them straight into you loom........tidy up all the ends, connections etc,( heat shrink is better than tape....)then drop the fuse cover under the steering wheel....see all the fuses???pick one..( i chose the 3rd from the left) and remove the fuse, and , with the end of your wire bared, re-insert the fuse, with the wire under it.(.under the lower conact of the fuse, not the top one..).close fuse cover...hide wires...all should be goood.....as far as a switch goes.....the 2 black thingies next to the air conditioning on/off button can be made for another switch or 2....or on the front of the console,by the drivers left knee, is a good spot for a switch.......................have a loook at the pix I posted in the Vee Pee section...under "Hee Hee Hee.." i think...(hard to do at this time of day..lol..)....

i put a series of missile switches under the lid of my centre console.
But need to be careful where u place them coz of the ribs under there.
1 runs the fogs and the other is waiting for something.
My neon switch is a small toggel next to the A/C switch
