    Default Removing a Towbar.

    righto, so i got a tow bar on me berlina and i wanna remove it cause it looks shit.

    But, how do I go about this? is it bolted on to the bottom of the car? How do I get if off?

    From memory there are 3 bolts in the boot of the car that hold it on. One behind the back seat and 2 closer to the end of the car.

    Just look urn the car and you'll see where the bolts are.

    It depends what part you want to remove?
    The whole frame? Or just the hanger that the tongue bolts to? Or just the tongue itself?

    i removed mine from the vp, If you have a a rattle gun, USE IT. those bolts are a pain to get off.

    Oh ok, that's easy, when you look underneath, you'l see the bar that the ball is attached to(called the tongue) only has 2 bolts holding it on.
    Simply undo these, don't let it drop on your head or foot, it hurts!
    To be safe, so you don't lose the bolts, put them back in and tighten them up, also keeps dirt n shite out of the threads where they bolt in.

    ^^^^^^^should be a 19mm bolts mine is anyway
