    Post Holdens Used Car warranty

Hey all i got a vx ss with a 3 year or 175,000km warranty and its done 153,000km so thats a lot of time for things to go wrong with it. And i cant wait to start modifying it just standard twin 2 1/2 inch catback, i had put on last week and a ramjet otrcai & mafless tune...what i was wondering is if anyone on this forum had any experience with getting these things done then having a warranty part fail and had problems with holden honouring the warranty after the mods have been done?
    Cheers

the warranty isnt worth the paper its written on AFAIC, i know a few people who have been screwed over by it by something as simple as aftermarket headlight protectors

isn't it 3 years or 175,000kms, whichever comes first? a VX SS would be well over 3 years by now... closer to 8

yes its almost 9 years old but i got a used car warranty when they sold it to me which means its either 3 year warranty if i dont drive much or in my case 1 year cos ill have racked up too 175k by then but the first 3 months everything is covered its the law any car under 10 years old sold by holden has a 3 month statiotory warranty after that only certain things are covered so say i need a tranny rebuild they front 1k towards that so i need to know if by modifying it they will shaft me on this in my eyes anything that helps the engine breathe and run better like otrcai, catback, and a tune should not void my warranty, only things like lowered 5mm from the ground, or putting in a cam ect should but i dont want to ask them over the phone cos as soon as i do they'll be arseholes about it.
    cheers
