Front quarter panel

Hey so I am repainting my car (vs) and am taking some panels off my car. I'm leaving the doors on as I've just changed them but I want to take off the front quarters and bonnet.

I had a go today but couldn't seem to get the screw out that was right near the door pins and the door was just too much in the way. 1.How do I get this sucker out? I really don't want to take off the doors again.

2.Besides that, do I need to take the bumper off prior to getting the quarter panels off?

3.Does the protective plastic stuff directly above the front wheel/s need to come off prior to the actual panel? There's a screw for it on the bottom edge of the bumper if you don't know what I'm talking about.



I pretty much only got the screws on the top (near the edge of the bonnet) off and a couple underneath behind the bumper.
