I have a 93 Vr and the sump has been pushed in and the oil pick up is **** the cost for the new stuff is over $600
i got offered a VN VG VP VQ 3.8 SERIES 2 V6 ENGINE for $250 will it all fit back in and run as good as the Vr one??
you will need the computer too as far as i know possibly other bits too

yeah the VR auto had a PCM and the manual still had the ECM, but was a higher baud rate to the previous VN-VP
Shouldn't need to change the ECM though. Just plug the VR harness into the replacement engine. As far as I'm aware most if not all of the sensor connectors are the same. Re-use your VR exhaust manifolds as the O2 sensors are different to the earlier models
The motor will fit fine and the computer will work but what must be noted is the VR motor has a Cam Angle Sensor where the VN/VP didn't. I do not know what this might cause though.
