lo' all.
anyone got some bullet-proof method to cleaning velour seats? its for the impala. been retrimmed some time in its life, i would guess 16 or more years ago, since its been parked for 14. the seats are mouldy and discoloured.
my mate has a little steam cleaner, but has advised against it cos' he reckons that the heat will shrink the material (being plastic based) i had a quick go on it with some orange power, but didnt seem to work.
anyone?
spend $120 and have them done professionally, drink a cup of coffee and it's all done LOL.
hire one of those vax shampooer/vacuum things, mix up some degreaser and water in a bucket and scrub it into the seats with a scrubbing brush. then run over it with the shampooer, a cap or 2 of wheelie bin disinfectant in the shampooer water helps get rid of the degreaser smell apparently. then leave em in the sun to dry fully for a bit.
thats about all a pro detailer will do, nothing u cant do yourself with a vax
Meguiars dash and trim cleaner, bout 25 bucks from autobarn and works a treat
