I have been told everything from there to heavy to they cost extra to register and insure etc but I thought there would be someone here who could give it to me straight??? cheer's

Hey mate. It all depends what you want from a vehicle. It is the best of all world for me .
PROS. I think when they are lowered they look good.
They are probably the best dual cab to drive by far.
They come in a V8 option.
You can buy lots of performance parts for them.
They come with all the sedan nice ,Leather etc bits except for traction control.
Cons. The back seats are restrictive and realy only suit kids for a long trip.
They are heavy and will never be a drag car and are thirstier than its sedan counter part..
They are not the best thing to park in town because of its long lenght. 112mm longer than the statesman.
I wouldnt give mine up as it does everything that I want from it well, Not perfect but well. It is a great traveller and fits lots of gear in the back.I have done a little bit of work to mine and have had it to the drags a couple of times. best being 12.72 @ 111mph. So for me its the ideal second car.
    Regards Ian
