ripple things? like orange peel? a block of wood, a LOT of 2000 sandpaper and patience. kinda depends on what paint/clear you used too.

this is the way i do it, going from really bad peel to basic swirls. you decide how bad it is and pick where to start:

    1. 600 (normally on a flat/solid 2 pack colour)
    2. 800
    3. 1200
    4. 2000
    5. farecla G3 with a soft sponge starting with lots of water, then slowing washing the cutters off (kinda)
    6. and the polish i normally use is a kinda 'no name' brand which i get in bulk, but try and steer clear of stuff with wax in it. look for anything that has fine cut in it.
    7. wash the car with a wax based soap. once again the stuff i use is 'no name' cos i get it in 20ltr containers.
    8. chamois, stand back and enjoy your 3 days worth of work. take pictures, then hide it in the garage.

big name brands are not always best either, the only reason i say farecla is cos i have always used it and i know how it works. other stuff behaves differently, you will know what i mean once you have the buff on your paint.
