new sound system.

Happened at the start of the year but i still get a bit shitty considering i lost out on a $4000 sound system. Killer speakers, sub, headunit, amp etc. Top notch wiring. Car didnt bother me. But building up a sound system again is really shitting me! I had it all tuned perfectly to my taste in tunes (bass, tre etc.). JBL Sub and speakers. Unsure of amp brand, Pioneer head unit. Anyway enough of that. I want to just get a quick cheap system (Amp, Sub (Just 1) and maybe 6x9's) How much can i get that for?

Sorta need a budget mate, also this should really be in the car audio section.

Also, you will get better sound quality running 6/6.5inch speakers instead of 6x9 if you are running a sub.

Sorry relised what section i was in after i posted. My bad. Had the 6x9's in the doors, and cant remember what was on the parcel shelf. Sounded damn good though, could hear it coming from about a kilometre away when it was pumping beats. As for budget nothing brand new, except maybe speakers for parcel shelf, as im also spending cash for rwc. Plus the car is chewing petrol, and im currently out of work.
