ford au ute

hey guys,
well dads got this ford au ute thing lol, due for a battery change very soon,

so i was wondering besides having to redo the radio code, is ther anything else that needs to be redone when i disconnect the old 1?

or is it just a simple plug in n drive away ?

Some say you should switch the air conditioner on as the computer resets itself, but such a bullet proof car it will continue on for many years.
