As the title states, just for curiosity sake,
is there a place in sydney area that still sell this fuel?
Thanks
i thought the highest legal octane for road use in aus was 98.
Can you buy Avgas in Aus? People buy it in NZ from airfields, but they have to have a race licence and the fuel can't be pumped directly into the vehicle. Avgas here is leaded of course, not sur about which Avgas types are available in Australia, there are some Low Lead (100LL) fuels in some countries.
Oh sweet, I was referring to the 100 octane fuel that petrol stations around australia were pumping until 05 was it?
Because in europe they still have 100 octane shell petrol.
I'm in adelaide so not real local for you but i only run 100 octane from united servo's
Hi There's an Indipendent Servo on Windsor Rd At Northmead (opposite the Bowling Club)....It States on the Bowser it's 100 octane, but don't quote me on it, I have never used it?.....cheers....
Up here some select Shell Servos have/had 100 Octane, but I haven't checked in a long while.
EDIT: Ignore me, apparently it stopped in late 2008, told you its been a while. And it used to be 5% ethanol.
