Washing soft torrneu cover?

Hey,
I wanna clean my torrneu cover, its covered in a fair bit of dirt, and a little blood, Just wondering if its ok to put in the washing machine, on gentle, without it ripping?

I wouldn't try unless you don't value it too much

Is it vinyl or fabric? You can get kits for cleaning vinyl or fabric convertible roofs - i'd use one of those.

must have a big washing machine mate!!...oh by the way...dont use any vinyl products on it cos after when it rains it leaves annoying streak marks on the duco....the best is to lay it on the ground and get close with a guerney on it.....gets rid of most deep dirt

id suggest lying it out on the grass, detergent, a hose and a sweeping brush

Hmm im a bit worried about the blood :S
Might help if you say what its made of. If its vinyl i wouldnt wash it. As said get a pressure washer/go to a carwash bay and use the hot pressure gun. I did car detailing for a bit and we usually just got a bucket of hot soapy water, layed it out on the ground, scrubbed it with a scrubbing brush then pressure washed it. Good luck.
