Default Transporting a VX ss front bumper

I'm picking one up, just wondering if anyone knows if i can put a vx ss front bumper into the cabin of my car and still be able to drive without damaging either car or bumper.
i would use a trailer but it will be inconvient as i will be doing other things throughout the day and the trailer will be a hassle.

fold down the back seat, right though the car, although it will probably stop at the centre console. or get it at the end of the day

Take a mate, a couple of blankets and about 60 foot of Telecom Rope with you.

    Open four windows.
    Throw blanket on roof.
Place bar (wrapped in blanket) on roof.
Tie down through open windows the bar to the roof with Telecom Rope.
Drive home carefully with you and your mating holding bar with extended arm through open windows!

They don't don't weigh anything like the old Ford XC front bumper bar, so there should be no damage.

Before you leave home Take off your front bar , don't forget the number plate . pick up the vx ss bar and screw it on ( held on with 6 screws) Drive around care free all day then remove bar when you get home . Job done.

hahaha....i just drove from melbourne to wagga wagga to pick up a full SS kit last night, it was a very very tight squeeze with the front and rear bars over the front and back seats and side skirts over the top of them from corner to corner......bloody gas tank!
was a bit of a squeeze but they fit fine and no damage

anyone know a good/cheap place to get my kit sprayed?

Yeah, i got the front spoiler in no problems, you must have had fun squeezing all other parts in.

yer it was very interesting trying to drive 5 hours with it all squeezed in. I found a place in north ringwood that is gonna do the whole body kit for 350 which i thought was pretty good considering some of the other quotes i got.

the panel beater made a mistake mate, he thought vx21 wanted the black parts on the bumpers painted not the whole kit.

you could have just borrowed a mates vx commodore, removed his bumper, keep the screws with you from it. drive to the location bumperless and just screwed it on the front to get it home.
