Extra Engine Air Intake pipe......Does that makes difference ???????

Hi All,

iv seen guys discussing and showing how to Mod with air intake of a car adding addition PVC pipe to the air intake filter...

does that really makes difference adding additional pipe to engine air intake?? i have VY 2004 SS with standard filter. if i drill and install such additional Pipe to the intake, will it give mileage difference or power ??

is that original Intake is not enough for the engine ????

Lol!!!! Classic! And I agree, Holden spent millions of dollars and thousands of hours perfecting the intake, why would another hole make that much diff?

holden have to consider noise and are not interested in maximum horsepower also, so is their airbox able to be improved upon mmmmmmmm? i would think yes. with all the money they spent developing exhausts, tunes, suspension and so on should these be left alone aswell :hmmm: just asking is all?

2 hole mod is a waste of time. You'll get a little extra induction noise but that's about it.

the right CAI will improve on the factory item. it's up to you whether you spend $300+ from some name brand or $60 backyard job that many times works just as well. don't take my word for it though
