Chrome wheel defects.

Hey guys,

Currently looking at some wheels for my ss and i came accross these secondhand ones for a good price, only problem is that they have a sort of 'weld splatter' defect in the edges of them, just wondering if anyone knows what it is and if it is able to get rid of?

ive got that appearing on my chrome centre caps? was jjust thinking this just before haha..

Probably something to do with the dipping/electroplating process.

hmm i'm gna search for some ve gts replica's instead anyway...easier to take care of than chrome lol
