    Default Brake Booster/Master Cylinder

I'm in the middle of putting on my new VT brakes, but I was wondering are there any better boosters/master cylinders out there than the VT one? I.e. is it worth getting a VZ one? Are they different or the same?

I fitted the VT M/C to my VN's (all 3) and rate the pedal feel as good as the VZ. So probably the same spec.

yeah, i think all those MC from VT onwards are basically the same. i think the one on my VN is from a VX or VY.

although i've found that with the late model MC/booster on stock VN brakes the pedal is very touchy and it locks up to easy if you hit the pedal hard. for nomall use it does pull the VN up very nicely. can't wait for the new VT style calipers and 330mm rotors

vz boosters are the same physical size but dont have a part on the pushrod to redrill so it isnt that easy like the vt/x/y boosters to modify. To fit the vt one you need a pre vs bracket and modify it (pict 2) ...... welded a plate (pict 1)with the bolt pattern of the new booster to it. Picture 3 shows where to weld ..... picture 4 shows it welded before painting...... Pict 5 is finished product on the booster ready to bolt up

    Very Helpful Marko, cheers!

What benefits/negatives are there if I decided to run the VT Master off the stock VS booster?
that way avoiding having to modify and wait an extra couple of weeks for my mate to fabricate the modified bracket for the VT Booster

So benefits/negatives of running VT Master off the VS Booster?

Cheers for the pics, but is there any chance of getting some more pics of the modified bracket, my fabrication guy wants to see some more shots from the sides. Also, what thickness plate did you use?
