    Default after market water temp on sv8 reading wrong

    i have just installed today a calibre water temp gauge and it is reading 40 degres when grnd from sensor isnt hooked up but when i hook it up it ready 150 degres does any1 have any idea what is going wrong or got any help?? thanks

    add 40 to 110? your message is hard to read but i assume you mean it reads 40 on its own. new gauge buddy.

    cheers mate. i fugured it out, i think. it didnt have a good negative connection. Do you by any chance know what the running temp of a vy gen 3 is?? it seems to be up round the 89-95 mark and the thermo fan doesnt seem to kick in till bout 110. does that sound bout right? or maybe gauge or sensor is screwed. thanks bud

    Sounds right mate,

    Search on here how to get up the extra menu on the dash, that has a digital temp read out

    cant go wrong

    On the factory dash of vy II sv8 there is digital temp read out???? how do i get that display up and what else is on there???
