    Default Spark Plugs & Leads

    G'day,

I'm looking at replacing my spark plugs and leads on my 97' 3.8L Ecotec VT wagon.

I just wanted to know what brands are worth looking at. Also wouldn't mind a bit of feedback aswell. Thank you.

I just bought a set of Eagle Eliminator and am quite happy. And it is generally held that AC Delco plugs from Holden are some of the best you can get for a decent price.

You can use just about any plug brand on the ecotec without drama, NGK, Bosch, or Genuine are fine.

I use the bosch sport leads, they are the ones that are blue in colour. I have found the car runs a bit smoother for a bit longer before they need replacing. I usually use the NGK/Bosch plugs.

NGK plugs, personally I think Bosch are crap. Champion leads are the last ones I put on the VY.

Well mate they were cheaper than the ngk I got.
Talked the guy at work into putting them in his VS v6 ute and he was impressed.
    Worked for us.
