Which Workshop Manual?

Is a VS Series 3 (1999) covered by the VT Manual? Or should I get a VS Manual?

I own a VN Manual, are most things the same, anyhow?

Get a manual which has the VS included in its information. The series 1,2 and 3 will not change much I wouldn't expect. If you get a book which only has VT onwards, I would expect it won't include any info specifically related to the VS models at all.

You obviously need a VS manual, just check it covers the ute. From memory my VS Gregory's covers the ute as well but there's bugger all difference from a sedan other than rear suspension and missing a few doors. Most of the time you are likely to use it under the bonnet.
