    Default holden barina sound blasting every morning!! anybody kno wats goin on!!!

    Hi all, duno if this is the right forum to put it in buh il giv it a shot.

    My sis has a holden barina 2002 model. Every morning when she gets in the car and turns it on the music is set on full blast n she has to turn it down. Or somtimes when you addjusting the sound noob you turn it alittle and the sound goes full blast !! ??

    has anybody herd of this happing?
    only happens in the mornings , and when you turn the sound nob just up little.

    i hav tired turning the sound down all the way,, and checking in the morning yet to hav my ears blown off 7am. If anybody has herd or knows wats goin on plz i wud lik to kno thanks

    Trim pot (or similar) stuffed in the radio.. Either replace the radio or get it fixed.. I can only suggest to leave the radio off, if that can't be done remove the fuse

    Probably something dicky in the volume dial. I'd use it as an excuse to put in a new headunit

    lol its my sisters she likes it how it is.. hrm i might see if i can find the same model at the wreakers n swap it over.. iv never herd or seen this problem befor.. and dont kno who to take it to lmao

    plus she likes listening to cds n stuff.. so takin out the fuse wont help! lol

    she is female, they dont notice certain things. Just borrow the car for a day, get a new on put int and pre program all the radio stations back in, she wont even notice LOL

    Nah seriously, i reckon a new one for sure, not sure what it costs to fixt these things but more often than not the cost of another one from a wreckers wont be much, not many people chase wreckers for standard stereos so you should get one pretty cheap

    pull the postive wire off the horn? that would make the car unroadworthy though. only a tempo fix.
