Stolen today infront of centerlink carpark, walked outside saw car gone, glass on the ground, looked up and saw it in the distance driving away with 2 people in it !!!!.. goin into FG carpark.

im with just car, most likly police will find it on the side some where, thrashed,, im covered 3rd parity fire and theift.. insruance for 5 grand, wats the go if they find it now within 14 days, and car is stuffed?

Had new paint job, engine all fixed up, interior was nearly all done resprayed. sound system

Got it back, then realized I wish it would have disappeared.

IF it dunt turn up says on site covers up 2 market vaule $10,000, ? will they insurance me for my subs and amps? the new paint job i did, rims, ?? and if its found, any damage that may hav happend ??, (im guessin my clutch or diff or tail shaft, tyres) ..

I saw a VN dumped near the South Gippsland Highway on my way home tonight near the rail crossing .Its on the left as you enter the South Gippsland hwy from Princess hwy . The rear bar is hanging off , was dark so didn't see what color it was . Looks like they went bush bashing and got bogged plates are gone too .

The way insurance works is if it is insured for 5k like you said it was and they don't find it they will give you 5 grand. After that if it turns up they keep it and sell it.
If they find it before then and its all bashed up they will assess the damage. If damage is worth more then 5 grand they will give you the 5 grand and sell your car unless you want to buy it off them you would have to negotiate a price... but if its a mess and the motor is flogged just take the money and go buy a vs or something.

as long as you dont have a agreed value for the car you will get all your mods covered . other wise if the cops find it try and get all your parts off before you hand it over to just car

No if your car is insured for Market Value you won't get the value of your subs and amps and new paint job and rims.....You said market value/insured value is $5k. That's how much you get. minus your excess which is probably $1000, you'll get $4k.

You have to 'insure' all the car's content into the policy, so all that stuff is covered under the policy.

COPS FOUND MY CAR!!... some where in cranbourne,, no seats no roof linning no speakers cd player subbs.ect... no rims... no front hsv grill... broken window damage to door wit screw driver...ect ect ect shattered!!! ,.. . not much i can do now buh let Just Car take action.. duno what condition engine is in, wasnt aloud to lift bonnet (cuz of finger prints)..

You need to clarify if you are insured for agreed or market value. Unfortunately if it is market value you could be disappointed as they will go on the red book value, less any excess. Best to ring them and ask these questions as it's too hard for anyone here to comment without knowing exactly what the conditions of your policy are.
