Nite Shade

Hey guys,

Just wondering where a good place is to get VHT nite shade from in order to tint my rear tail lights, I have tried my local Supercheap and Repco, and neither have it, and buying off Ebay will mean i have to wait 2 weeks

any help appreciated

Thought it was illegal to tint tail lights as it restricts the light output. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Its illegal to tint it... was surfing ebay few nights ago and found a place that tints headlights.... they look sweet

I got some a while back (probably 4 years or so) lol, from autobarn on at tuggerah, but like you've said they're gooone now.
Pretty sure theres still a Autobarn down at erina if you're keen for a drive ?

Cheers guys for all the help, ended up getting some from lakehaven autobarn as they are the ones installing my sound system, so i needed to go there anyway.

Tinted my tail lights today, looks awesome, just did one moderate coat of nightshade and that seems sufficient to add a nice tint to the lights without attracting too much attention from the police i'd imagine.

now im needing to remove my spoiler, only problem is all the smash repair/spray painting shops around here are wanting to charge me $500+ to do the job.

Swaps for a boot the same colour without a spoiler is seeming like a good option.

The car is the VZ silver colour if anyone is interested.
