    Default hardlid fitting

    hi, just bought a hardlid for my vu with the fitting kit got no instructions though. Wondering if anyone can help out with a guide or steps on how to so i don't root it up?!

    It's pretty simple... sit the lid on and you should be able to work out where everything goes. I had no idea when I put mine on my VZ but my old man and I had it done and dusted in less then 30 minutes.

    thats a pretty ute. all i can suggest is measure 3 times, drill once. what type of hardlid is it?

    vz thunder style with twin humps, the painter primed it first as i bought it raw and it just had a gel coat on it, charged me $650 for the job though. I thought that it was a bit pricey, what do you think?
    I'll prob do it at work, got all the tools i need their and the other mechanic their to help out.

    I think I paid 1100 bucks for mine. Genuine VZ thunder item, fitting kit and painted black already.

    raw ones can be a bit tricky cos they have to be prebaked 85c plus FOR 2-3 HOURS otherwise it will move/print thru later. most refinishers booths only go up to 60c ???
