Go get a quote from a shop and then answer your own question as to why you're not getting much positive feedback.

Does it matter? it has nothing to do with the thread.

can I only guess this is only changing the rear springs to SSSSSSSL and cutting bump stops. The person earning the 20 bux wont have to touch front springs or any shocks?
Is the hard earner allowed to cut the springs instead?

Give it a shot your self mate, the rears are really easy to change. Do some searching on this forum and you will gather heaps of info on how to change them. Jack up the back of your car and sus it out. Your better off doing these things your self so you can learn more about cars and also learn more about your own car.

It cost my bf $150 to get his VE lowered with his own springs & that was a DODGEY job (cost double that to fix it up)
Get a set of spring clamps and give it a go yourself. When my bf did mine the rears pretty much fell out & we found a write up on the net to do it. To get assistance you'd at least offer a case..

in all seriousness though, two rear springs and shocks for 50 bucks would be about right. what? half hour labour? would have to throw in a tall neck or two though. no way i would go sober for that long.

.. having said that i still wouldnt do it
