Carb-to-EFI Conversion Has Never Been EZer
Good idea in theory...wonder if it works or complies with roadworthy/adr etc?
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
PM with any info.
yeah they do comply with RWC, as long as its hooked up to the egr and choke. i reckon they are a great idea. its just the price that stings. performance warehouse in nunawading had them for 1200, maybe not the same brand, but same thing.
Same basic thing as the old Holley Projection
being EFI, it wouldn't need a choke, and it would easily conform to any carb engine emissions ADR levels, if tuned correctly.
As mentioned above, it's a similar setup to the Holley Projection. A throttle body injection system where the injectors are mounted directly to the throttle body rather than into the ports.
it's a good DIY EFI system if you don't want the fuss of converting over a carbed engine to a multipoint injection system. But throttle body injection isn't as good as multipoint, port injection
